How To Protect BM622m, BM623m 2012-2013 Huawei Modem
This Tutorial will show your how to protect your modem BM622m and BM623m due to rampant scanning of ip address and snipping of modem a lot of modem has been destroyed or being modified by group of people who called them self a hacker or feeling hacker. :D
This Tutorial Will Show You How To Protect Your BM622m 2012 and BM623m modem
Modem being modified by this people comes in different ways and purposes. First is they just modified your IP address so you won't be able to access your modem default IP address. Second they change your WAN
Ip resulting to blank wan. Third they upload invalid configuration to your modem which result to either blank wan or your modem light would just light up and stays that way. (all light on).
In order to protect our modem from being access by this hacker we need to secure our modem ports .
Ports that is always open when ever we turn on our modem. It is by default so we need to turn them of manually to close this port.
Note: all the ports will be open again once you turn off and on your modem. You have to do this again to close this ports.
HIDE WAN MAC ADDRESS IN PUBLIC INFO - NOT PERMANENT
Step1:
Change Mac address using .vbs script and edit this with your own then RUN script after editing- Download Script HERE
Just wait until successfully changed the MAC address you can access your GUI http://192.168.254.1/ if its done changing. And of course it will not connect to the internet because of your non working MAC Address.

DeleteHindi na po protected kapag nakamask kasi nababackdoor ang bm622m kahit walang password ay naenable yung wan telnet using acl script na galing din mismo sa ibang bm622m na may kaunting edit. doon ay pinalatan ang action=mtk.cgi to wimax_connect_pub.cgi na hindi nafifilter ang enabling command. Mas mabuti ay palitan ang port nang https or uncheck it.. Naka hidden po yun kaylangan nang web developer by pressing alt+shift+a.
