How To Flash Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa Stock ROM (SPFT/CWM)
I am going to guide you to unbrick your Cherry Mobile flare s3 octa, to fix hard brick, soft brick and boot loop we are going to flash the stock ROM or firmware. That is the only way to restore it into working condition. Once you fix the problem, you can root it again and install a custom recovery but for now follow the instruction that is written in this guide. If you are a beginner in flashing, I suggest you do not skip any step and make sure to download all required files. Proceed below and check whether you have this below-needed thing for flashing.
Requirements:

If you’re done downloading those files above. You may now proceed to the next step below.
NOTE: After you have downloaded the required files. Create a folder in your desktop, copy and extract all the files using 7zip or Winrar.
FLARE S3 OCTA STOCK ROM (SPFT)
Step1: First we must install the MT65xx USB driver, I made a separate tutorial for installing the USB driver for Windows 7 see “Install Mediatek MT65xx USB VCOM Drivers In Windows 7” and for Windows 8 to the latest see “Install Mediatek MT65xx USB VCOM Drivers In Windows 8/8.1/10“. For some reason after you have installed the driver, you will see an exclamation mark on device manager but just ignored that.
Step2: After you have successfully installed the USB, driver. Unplug your device from the computer and open the folder of SP Flash tool.
Step3: Find and right click flash_tool.exe and choose run as administrator.
Step4: From the main screen, click scatter-loading button and browse the scatter file from the stock ROM folder.
Step5: Click download button. Turn off your mobile phone, it must be completely turn off.
Step6: While holding volume down, connect your device into the computer. You should see a progress bar which means the process has started. If you encountered BROM Error, do not disconnect your device, it’s mean the USB driver is being installed until your device has been fully recognized. Disconnect your device into the computer and click the Download button and reconnect your device again. Take note that your device must be turn off.
Step7: When you see a green check icon, it means that flashing process has been finished. Unplug your device from the computer and boot it up.When you see a green check icon, it means that flashing process has been finished. Unplug your device from the computer and boot it up.

FLARE S3 OCTA STOCK ROM (CUSTOM RECOVERY)
- Copy the stock ROM and the stock boot logo inside the root folder of your SD card.
- Reboot your device into recovery by holding the power button and volume up simultaneously.
- Do a wipe factory data reset / Wipe cache and dalvic cache.
- Choose Install zip from SD card.
- Locate the stock ROM from your SD card.
- Wait the process to finish.
- Flash the stock boot logo.
- Reboot your device.
